Hacking Team and The Age of the Cyber Mercenaries
The world of technology, when you are the sole owner of your dreams, products and
decisions; is a creative and entertaining world. Unfortunately, the world has
been changing in a drastic way and every day we see local governments
transforming themselves into tyrants that resemble those tyrants from comic
books. How did they do it? Who helped them get there?
I do not wish to
analyze every single tentacle of the beast, although it is inevitable not to
look at them and it is even harder no to speak of conspiracies, geopolitics,
linguistics, neuro-programming, neuro-anatomical /psychological studies made in
Tavistock and the actions dictated by Bilderberg, CFR and The Bohemian Grove… so,
the “Tentacle” that we will talk about in this article or rather “One of The
Eyes”, is the one of that monitors the citizens of the world, this eye is
always fixed upon those who use their computers and electronic devises for
entertainment purposes, those who look for some sort of education, those who
wish to "hack” their education, those who found something in the depths of
the Web and those who try to get some of that knowledge to the surface; saving
the reader all the pain that the light causes to the eyes that are used to the
darkness.
Back in the day one just needed to be bigger than the rest... and to be a bully,
so one could be able to intimidate and control a group of people. In time, the
population grew and there was a need to recruit more bullies and add sticks,
swords and firearms; the original bully reduced its size because there was no
need to fight, its capacity to corrupt weak minds became so effective that the
bully just needed to point the finger and toss some coins, so the bully’s will became
law and the people remained under control. From controlling its neighborhood,
to controlling two neighborhoods; then the entire town, then the next town and
the whole state... eventually the country. A few years later the bully met other
bullies from other countries who called themselves “prime minister”, “president”,
“king”, “emperor”, “public servant” but were just like him, and they grouped in
order to exchange more ideas and increase their areas of influence... the bully
craved for more power and learned from the most experienced ones in the game
called Control.
From these tricks the bully learned that physical punishment was not as
efficient as economic punishment; the bully realized that every time the people's
attention was diverted or stolen, at the right time, people would stop
thinking. That is the moment when the bully seized the media and passed the
microphone to mediocre journalists that "provoked" the masses by
using an official script that included real and fictional issues that would
allow the people’s anger to be released, without reaching a climax that would
eventually usher change; then by using “positive” news they would calm the
people down and stabilize society… until time was right for another “stir”.
He also realized that mind control was more powerful than physical control;
even though mind control is more expensive and complex, it is more effective
since it is infectious and hereditary. If the bully could control the people’s thoughts,
he could control their actions; and if the bully could control their actions,
he could control their past, present and future.
Even with all that power, the fear still lives in those who rule and control
the masses; the same fear that his ancestors had and used as an excuse to commit
murder; that same fear that still lives in all those who have power and are
afraid to lose it.
In previous articles we have talked about the history of this wonderful
cyber-realm; about the dangers and the ways to protect ourselves; but this time
we do not wish to educate, we want to expose one of the internet's
enemies. As we read parts of those 400GB
worth of leaked information from Hacking Team, we realize that the situation is
way more horrible than what we thought…
Hacking
Team is an Italian company dedicated to
the realm of “information technology”
that sells “capacities” for intrusion
and monitoring to governments, police agencies,
etc. Da Vinci is the tool that Hacking Team offers to its
clients (governments), and it is an RCS (Remote Control System) that allows HT’s clients to monitor their
citizens. Da Vinci is configurable and customized, it also allows the user to
intercept emails, SMS, calls, to perform Keystroke logging; record browsing history,
intercept a phone’s GPS to track it, break encrypted emails and attachments, record Skype
calls and other VoIP communications... to
remotely activate microphones and cameras… this monitoring tool works anywhere in the
planet.
This description on Hacking Team is enough to realize what is in store for us; this company is only one of so many pieces in the New World Order puzzle.
